Oxymoron of the Day-Instant Intimacy
Here is an article from Fast Company Magazine's Networking section entitled "Instant Intimacy."
Do you think this method if applied properly would make it easier for you to develop closer friendships more quickly?
What do you think?

I think it's very interesting that one of the points Ferrazzi makes regarding intimacy is "And above all, focusing on giving -- using any "currency" you have to help fill their needs." Giving, and meeting others' needs as an avenue to starting and developing deep, lasting intimate relationships... sounds like a secular consultant has taken a page from the Bible, put it into corporate practice, and has found that God is right... Now if we could just get the church to understand that, as one of the section titles of the article states, "Remember, we're all the same". It doesn't matter what people look like, how they dress, how they wear their hair or any other external thing; God loves us all the same and we should reach out to all of His children and try to develop an 'instant intimacy' by regarding them as valuable, having empathy toward them and looking to meet their needs.
