Another peice by Rabbi Gellman-Paper Boats
Rabbi Gellman never ceases to amaze me with the unique perspectives that he offers. I hope you enjoy Paper Boats as much as I did.
What do you think?
i enjoy gellman's columns. he is right when he says there are many educated and historically aware people today who are ready to do dastardly things. i'm usually troubled with gellman at the end of his articles. he is good a pointing out a problem and analyzing it in a meaningful way. the problem is, he has no solution. in the name of tolerance he preaches good works as the pragmatic solution for everything but does not give a fear-based motivator or a God-glorifying motivator. which leads me to believe that his an athiestic believer, preaching tolerance over truth. but i do like many of the things he says, don't get me wrong.
